Promises
Three next steps, each with a smaller version.
After what Elja noticed come three genuinely different next steps: one to test the belief, one to make it smaller to start, one to change the situation. Each has a smaller version. Pick one or write your own, choose when it will happen, and say how sure you are. Tomorrow you tap once: Kept it, Did a smaller version, or Released it, then answer one learning question. Nothing is punished.
There is no streak, so there is nothing to break. A promise kept badly is still a promise kept, and a promise let go is a fact about its size, not about you.

When you are about to let a promise go, Elja offers the half-size version first. “Ten minutes on the portfolio” becomes “open the file and fix one line.” “Say my idea in the meeting” becomes “send it to one colleague first.” You can still let it go.
Reminders that know the promise
When you make a promise, Elja asks when to remind you and tells you exactly what the reminder will say. At that hour, one notification: a promise is waiting for today. The promise itself stays off your lock screen unless you choose to show it. It cancels itself the moment you report back. One per promise, never two.

Missions
Thirty days with a shape.
A mission is a named arc with a defined outcome: day-anchored questions on the days that matter, a pool for the days between, and promises sized for that month.
- Keep One PromiseThe first mission, free and full length. One achievable commitment for thirty days. The point is not the commitment; it is what happens to your trust in yourself when you keep it.
- Start AnywayFor “I don’t even know where to start.” Seven days where Elja picks the promise for you each morning: send one message, put one thing back, walk to the end of the street. On Day 7 you read the six back and choose the one that felt most like you. That becomes your first promise in Keep One Promise.
- Practice PlusKeep It modeThirty days end. The promise does not have to. Once you have seen your Proof, Elja gets quieter: the standing promise on Today with no day counter, one reflection whenever you like, a Mirror once a month. After fourteen kept days, one button appears for a second promise.
Life-moment missions
Thirty days written for a particular moment, not a generic goal. Each is written with a named author who has lived the thing; their name and a line about them sit at the top of the mission. Until an author has signed, the mission ships unsigned and says so.
A witness.
One person you choose sees kept, smaller, released. Dots on a page. Never a word you wrote.
You invite them by email. They get a link and need no account. They see your last thirty days as dots, nothing else, and a log shows you every time they looked. Revoke it in one tap. A Witness is included with Practice Plus.

That is the whole page. No promise text, no reflections, no name but your first one.
Bring in old entries.
If you have kept notes before, in Day One, Apple Notes, plain text, or Markdown, you can bring them in with their original dates. They sit in your history as they are. Nothing is processed by AI unless you tap “Run my first Mirror on these,” and even then only the last fourteen.

Elja Studio: a voice, a capsule, a letter.
Elja Mentor
One presence, one voice. Mentor is a conversation with limits: a handful of turns a session, built only on your own entries. It reminds you of the promise in your words, checks in on the days that historically go badly for you, and resurfaces evidence instead of cheering: “Nine days ago you wrote that you didn’t believe yourself. You’ve kept the promise six of the nine since.” No advice beyond one small step, and an off switch that stays off.
Time Capsule
On Day 1, a message to Day 30 you, on camera or voice only, answering one question. Sealed after an hour; nobody can play it, including you, until Day 30. Then it plays, you record the reply, and both sit inside your Proof. Never processed by AI. Included in your export and your delete.
The Sunday Letter
Once a week, a letter in your inbox, written in Elja’s voice from what you wrote that week. Longer than the Mirror and slower: less a report, more a note from someone who was paying attention. Read it with coffee. There is nobody to reply to.

Every post is read before it is shown; anything unkind, anything selling, anything with a phone number or a last name in it never appears. Adults only, eighteen and over. Four boards are open: Consistency, Beginning again, Small wins, and Missed days, each with one question a week.
Circles
Two to five people, one mission, thirty days together. Each of you sees the others’ dots, kept, smaller, released, and never a word anyone wrote. Company without a feed.
Year Book
Twelve Proofs of Becoming, bound and printed. A year of your own words, thirty days at a time, on paper you can hand to someone or keep in a drawer. A one-time purchase, with a discount for Elja Studio.
